Board Member of Association of Engineering and Construction of Oil, Gas, and Petrochemical Companies in an interview with ILNA: Reduction of risk in new oil contracts

(ILNA) Motarjemi said: Based on the risks on previous contracts, international companies were not able to work in Iran. Therefore, it was required to review the contracts to be reasonable and fair.

Mehrdad Motarjemi, board member of association of engineering and construction of oil, gas and petrochemical companies, in an interview with ILNA on necessity of revising oil contracts said: We needed to have a revision of oil contracts since the previous contracts had many bugs and international companies with risks that existed in previous contracts were not able to work in Iran. Therefore, it was required to review the contracts to be reasonable and fair.
He clarified that: regarding capabilities, experiences, and expertise of Iranian companies, some issues will be presented at the conference .

Referring to the issue that after launching new oil contracts some programs will be presented for partnership of domestic and international oil companies, Motarjemi said: years of work have been taken on contracts that are scheduled to be unveiled in November. Framework and features of these contracts will be presented in three main sections which are: launching contracts, announcing projects under which the executive contracts can be offered, and presenting inner capabilities.
